This homemade tissue paper Valentine card is quite easy to do; it uses the same folding and cutting paper craft technique commonly used to make paper snowflakes.

Fold the square in half, then in half again, forming a smaller square.
If desired, round off or cut curving lines along the top of the triangle to make the final opened shape a little less square.
Hold up one side of the design, apply a thin layer of glue beneath it and press down, working from the center outwards.
