to complete a background check in order to stay with or be in the presence of the

children on our campgrounds. Churches will have the responsibility to perform

the background check on each sponsor/ worker before arriving at camp for

registration. No adult will be allowed to stay or be with children unless they have

this background check (This includes all day visitors).

Churches may already have a system for background checks established.

Some churches are still working to create a system for screening workers. If you

desire a resource for obtaining background checks, the BGCO has contracted

with trak-1 to provide background checks for churches at only $6.50 per person.

To obtain information on trac-1 for background checks go to

www.bgco.org; click on Resources; click on Leadership Development; click

on Background Checks. There you will find the PDF for trak-1 BGCO

Service Agreement and addendum. Churches can apply to receive

background checks for $6.50 each. If you already have an agreement with

trac-1, download the "Consent Form" at the same location on the website.

Some churches have up-to-date background checks on their leaders and

teachers, so please submit those copies as proof at registration. All documents

are handled with confidence and are not available for anyone outside the BGCO
