| Students must be recommended by their church staff, Minister of Music and/or Pastor or Student Minister.

| Students should be members in good standing with a church cooperating with the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma.

| Students should be actively involved in the music ministry of their church. If the church is without student-based music ministry, the candidate should be involved in other aspects of the student life within the church.

| Students should be mature, leader-oriented students exhibiting high standards of Christian living.
|
| ·
| Students auditioning for the first time must be have just completed their high school freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior year in school at the time of the Tour.

| ·
| Returning All-State Alumni must have just completed their high school freshman, high school sophomore, high school junior, high school senior, college freshman, or college sophomore year in school at the time of the Tour.
|
| ·
| The All-State Program is an honor that requires sacrifices of time and resources from the participant and his/her family. All-State applicants and alumni involved in the Tour should not be married and should not have children.

| ·
| All-State Alumni do not have to audition for future Tours.
|
| ·
| All-State Alumni who have aged out are eligible to apply for a position as Logistic Assistant for future Tours.
