2007 Mother/Daughter Camp

We are delighted that you and your camper are planning to attend the Mother-Daughter Camp! Plans are underway for the new camp year and we hope your camp experience will be an enjoyable time for both of you. Please read the following information carefully.
 
ACCREDITED: Camp Nunny Cha-ha is accredited by the American Camping Association. Accreditation means that all aspects of camp program, administration, facilities and equipment meet specific standards set up by the American Camping Association.
 
CAMP COST: This session at camp costs $30.00 per person (includes three meals, housing, and insurance). The FULL AMOUNT of $30.00 PER PERSON should accompany the registration form. Registration is based on a first come, first served basis. We must have your registration form and payment in order to guarantee or hold your reservation. A full refund will be made only if cancellation is made one week before the Mother/Daughter Camp you have registered to attend. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE AFTER THIS DATE unless camp is filled to capacity and we have campers on the waiting list.
 
REGISTRATION: Registration will be from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Friday. The camping program will begin at 5:00 p.m. Friday. The camping program will conclude at 2:00 p.m. Saturday.
WHAT TO BRING: You and your camper will need to bring the following to camp:
 
Bible        Towels          Bedroll
Pencil        Wash cloths        Sheets
Raincoat      Personal articles      Pillow
Swimsuit      Jacket or sweater      Blanket
Socks for hiking
Personal hygiene products such as soap, toothpaste, etc.
Comfortable shoes: tennis shoes (no new shoes or thongs)
Dress: shorts and long pants or jeans for hiking (No dresses will be needed.)
 
Do not bring gum, food, radios, or tape players.
 
THINGS TO PURCHASE: There will be an opportunity to buy t-shirts and other items that range in price from $3.00 to $20.00. Refreshments at the camp store include ice cream pop and candy (prices range .65-$1.00).
 
PROGRAM: The staff at Nunny Cha-ha has been trained in a pre-camp orientation. Staffers are college, seminary and career women who spend their summers at camp. Included in the camping program are Bible study, mission study, nature study, handicraft, sign language, and recreation (swimming, softball, volleyball, ping-pong and hiking).

We are delighted that your camper is going to be attending Camp Nunny Cha-ha this summer! Plans for the 2006 season are underway and we hope your camper will have a wonderful experience at camp this summer. Please read the following information carefully. 
 
ACCREDITED: Camp Nunny Cha-ha is accredited by the American Camping Association. Accreditation means all aspects of the camp program, administration, facilities and equipment meet specific standards set up by the American Camping Association.
 
REGISTRATION: Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations will not  
be held or guaranteed until we have your registration form and payment. Registration fee includes food, housing, (t-shirt for week long campers) qualified supervision for the camper, and insurance which gives protection to your camper once she leaves from home on Monday until her return home on Friday.
 
WEEK-LONG CAMP REGISTRATION IS $120. (This registration fee is the same as Camp Hudgens – boys camp). (Early REGISTRATION DISCOUNT OF $10 IS ALLOWED IF FULL PAYMENT of $110 IS RECEIVED IN THIS OFFICE before MAY 1.  Registration begins Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. and camp closes at 1:00 p.m. Friday afternoon. Please plan to have your camper picked up at one o'clock.
 
CANCELLATION: If for some reason your camper must cancel registration, please let us know as soon as possible. A full refund will be made only if cancellation is made ONE WEEK BEFORE THE OPENING DATE OF THE CAMP YOUR CAMPER IS TO ATTEND. No refund will be made after this date unless camp is filled to capacity. When writing concerning registration, please state the DATE OF CAMP AND NAME OF CHURCH.
 
CAMPER'S INFORMATION SHEET:  BRING COMPLETED, SIGNED HEALTH FORM WITH YOU WHEN YOU COME TO CAMP, DO NOT MAIL TO CONVENTION OFFICE.
 
A registered nurse is on duty 24 hours a day to provide medical attention and first aid. The camp nurse will go over the completed heath form with the camper during the registration process. A physician is "ON CALL".

If it is necessary to send prescribed medications with your camper, please mark each medication with: (1) name of camper, (2) what medication is for, and (3) instructions for taking medications. All medicines are given to the camp nurse when the camper registers on Monday and administered by the camp nurse according to instructions on the bottle.
 
HOUSING: During camp your camper will stay in a concrete-block cabin. Eight campers are housed in each cabin along with a camp cabin leader. Your camper will choose a "buddy" from church. If there is an uneven number from your church, one group may have three buddies. their female staffers.
 
WHAT TO BRING: Your camper will need to bring the following items to camp:

THINGS TO PURCHASE: There will be an opportunity to buy t-shirts and other items that range in price from $3.00 to $20.00, and stamps (.39). Refreshments at the camp store, which includes pop, candy and ice cream ranges .65 to 1.00. Your camper will also have opportunity to give to the missions offerings.
 
PROGRAM: The staff at Nunny Cha-ha has been trained in a pre-camp orientation. Staffers are college students who spend their summers at camp. Qualified lifeguards will be on duty at all swimming periods. Camping program includes Bible study, mission study, nature study, handicraft, sign language, and recreation (swimming, softball, volleyball, ping-pong, and hiking).
 
MAIL: It will help your camper to receive mail from home. Write early in the week. Address all letters to Camp Nunny Cha-ha, Route 1, Davis, Oklahoma 73030. We ask that you do not send food, gum, candy, etc.
