Program Description:

 Project tasks
1.  Prayer walking.  Places we might visit:
 a. A temple of Chinese religion of Dao at Diamond Hill that is one of the strongholds in HK.

 b. Kowloon Walled City Park – A historic site dated back in 1847.  At that time, there were a lot of crimes involved in the city.  Now, there are many restaurants and little shops, but still is a dark area.

 c. Cheung Chau Island, a fishing village, Chinese ancestor worshiping and local deities.   However, we have started a growing youth ministry that needs teaching and encouraging.
 d. Shopping Centers – Each shows the materialistic side of HK.
2.  English Corners – Partner with the Hong Kong Baptist University, Po Tien Gospel Center or other opportunities.
3.  Leading one hour teaching on how Christians can be light and salt in the business world for the organization named Connecting Business and Marketplace to Christ (CBMC).  Website: www.cbmc.org.hk
4.  Visiting HK local churches – With the membership of 50-200, meet their pastors and church leaders to explore the possibility of partnership.
5.  Building relationships – getting to know the local NSC (National strategy coordinator), making friends to build trust and discover needs for the future project.
   Interaction with people, (personal relationships)
The official name for HK is Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) that has religious freedom.  No security code at the present time.  Quite a few people can speak English and are very friendly to foreigners, but lack of interest in spiritual things. Hong Kong people live a very fast life style.  Some visitors said it’s like visiting New York City.  Sharing in a group setting works out better.
