Falls Creek Prayer Guide
The following is a 30-day prayer guide designed to begin on Sunday, four weeks
before your group leaves for Falls Creek. For each day there is a prayer request
for the camp as a whole and some suggestions for preparing your heart to
receive what God has planned for you this summer at Falls Creek.
Sunday 29
Pray for your youth leaders as they prepare for camp. Ask God to prepare you
and give you opportunities to minister to others at camp.
Monday 28
Ask God to meet all the needs (strength, patience, rest, spiritual, etc.) of the Falls
Creek Staff. Spend some time evaluating your life. Ask God what your spiritual
needs are and then surrender those needs to Him.
Tuesday 27
Lift up the morning and evening speakers. Pray that God will allow them to say
only His words and to communicate His heart effectively. Today, give your words
to God. Ask that everything you say would honor God.
Wednesday 26
Thank God for the sponsors and cooks He has provided for your group. Pray
that God will bless them for their willingness to serve. Remember, we are all
called to be servants.
Ask God to give you a servant’s heart today.
Thursday 25
Pray for the Program Coordination Executive Staff: Andy Harrison, Norman
Flowers, and Todd Sanders. Ask God to give them wisdom for all of the many
daily decisions. Also, ask for God’s leadership in the decisions you face today.
Friday 24
Pray for those who are coming to Falls Creek who do not know Christ. Pray that
the Holy Spirit would work in their life and show them their need for the Savior.
Give thanks to God for the relationship you have with Him because of Christ
Jesus.
Saturday 23
Come before God and ask Him to provide safety during the recreational times
and throughout the week. Ask God to use you today to bring peace to
someone’s life.
Sunday 22
Pray for the invitation times each evening at Falls Creek. Ask God to remove
any distractions during these critical times. Prepare your heart for what God will
ask you to do. P” raywill

s answer to God, no matter what the

Monday 21
Pray for a growing sense of unity and love within your youth group. Search God
and ask Him how you can be a tool in this request.
Tuesday 20
Pray for wisdom as a team of people look at what is needed for the future at Falls
Creek. The camp continues to grow and there are always new things needed to
meet the needs. Pray that God would touch the heart of people who could give
financially to help the future needs at Falls Creek.
Wednesday 19
Pray for the Falls Creek Conference Center Staff. Ask God to give them strength
and endurance as they serve, prepare and maintain the camp. Ask God to show
you times in your life when you are not sharing your faith.
Thursday 18
Lift up those who are coming to Falls Creek who are complacent and hypocritical
Christians. Pray that they would leave with a longing for God like they have
never known. Search your heart for areas of complacency. Ask God to give you
a desire for Him that reflects His desire for you.
Friday 17
Pray that God would speak through and empower the morning Bible study
teachers in your cabin. Attune your ears to the Holy Spirit and be willing to allow
God to speak through you today.
Saturday 16
Be still before God and pray for the evening cabin devotions. Ask that it would
be an intimate time with your group as you seek the Father. Ask God to reveal
Himself to you in new ways during your personal devotions.
Sunday 15
Pray that God would speak to other groups that are at Falls Creek this week.
Ask God to allow you to see His truth around you in everyday tasks.
Monday 14
Come to God with a desperate heart today, asking Him to speak to calloused
hearts at Falls Creek. Pray that God would speak clearly to students who do not
care to listen to God at Falls Creek. Ask God to reveal any areas of your heart
that have grown hard and resistant to the Holy Spirit.
Tuesday 13
Lift up the worship leaders as they prepare to lead us in worship each day.
Evaluate your private worship; remember worship is a way of life, not an event.
Wednesday 12
Pray for the Recreation Staff. Ask God to give them strength as they help us to
have fun. Take time to have a fun with God today. Include Him in everything
you do and enjoy His fellowship.
Thursday 11
Pray for the Morning Experience in the Tabernacle. Pray that the leaders would
set our hearts on the Father for the remainder of the day. Set your mind on Him
as soon as your eyes open all this week and see the difference it will make in
your day.
Friday 10
Pray for the Falls Creek Conference Center leadership. Pray that God would
sustain them and their families this summer and bless them as they serve each
day at camp. Ask God to make you aware of how He is working around you.
Saturday 9
Pray for the Technical Staff as they serve God by doing all the necessary, but
unnoticed tasks. Ask God to make you aware of those serving behind the
scenes. When He does, give a word of thanks and appreciation to them.
Sunday 8
Pray for the security and the Courtesy Crew. Pray that they would be blessed for
their service to you and others at camp. Pray today that you would serve others
in a way that would honor God.
Monday 7
Pray that the global missions team would effectively communicate how God
’s
glory is being spread throughout the world. Ask God to give you a larger
perspective of Christianity and show you how you fit into His plans to spread His
message across the globe.
Tuesday 6
Ask God to give you a grateful heart and a great attitude while you are at camp.
Wednesday 5
Come before God asking for good weather. Sometimes God uses His creation to
teach us. Take time to see if God is trying to teach you something today through
His creation.
Thursday 4
Pray for the Medical Staff. Ask God to guide them as they serve. Evaluate if
there are any parts of your spiritual life that are sick? If so, then come before
God and ask Him to heal it.
Friday 3
Pray for the people helping with the invitation. Ask God to give them wisdom as
they help those that respond to the invitation. Pray that He will begin to prepare
you for the invitation time.
Saturday 2
Pray today that you will prioritize your relationship with God next week at camp
more than any other relationship. Pray that you will encounter God in a way that
will change your life. Ask God to help you focus on Him more than the opposite
sex during camp.
Sunday 1
Pray for those who could not come to Falls Creek. Ask God to reveal Himself to
them. Remember to pray for them throughout the week.
Monday, First Day of Camp
Ask God to provide safety for all the groups as they travel to and from Falls
Creek. Pray for the Falls Creek Staff as they prepare for your arrival. Pray also
for the families of the staff and sponsors who will be separated for this week.
Pray that you would be open this week to the plans God has for your life. Ask
God to do something in your life this week that will change the direction of the
rest of your life.
