Giving My Best

What a joy it is to sing for Jesus! There is nothing that I would rather do than to worship my Lord. He is so good to us. His love for us is everlasting and His desire is that we know Him in the victory of His resurrection. He wants us to live in that same victory as we live and walk and breathe in this life. He has given us His word so that we can know Him and follow His lead. He has sent us His Spirit so that we can have the power to do all that He asks of us. Because of these things and so much more, I want my life to be a living testimony of the great God, the One true God whom I serve. The song that He has placed in my heart is a song of love and gratitude. It is a song worship and praise. It is a song that He has given to me that I want to offer right back to Him as an offering, a sacrifice of praise. Let us not, however, bring to God an offering that costs us nothing. He gave His very life on a cruel cross so that we can know and love and worship Him. My offering MUST cost me something. It costs my pride. When I realize that, without Jesus I am spiritually bankrupt and that without Him I am nothing, it makes me want to serve Him all the more and to do so with excellence. Let’s offer to God our VERY BEST in Worship!
