Plan to vary the activities in the art center by using a see
-through easel. Place the easel on a table with a chair on
each side. As the children face each other, they will be-
gin to draw on their side of the glass using tempera
    paint, watercolors, or washable markers.
This activity will not provide take-home art, but the
child will enjoy a happy creative experience. A teacher
    can say: ˝The Bible says,
God gives us things to en-
    joy.

    Teaching Tips:
    .
Photograph children using the see-through easel. Mail a copy of the
photo to the parents to show an activity that the child enjoyed in his
    room at church.
    .
Share the instructions for making a see-through easel with parents, and
imagine the child enjoying easel painting at home.
